New Collaboration with Accademia Italiana

We entrusted three briefs to second year students of the Industrial Design course in Rome, at one of the principal private university-level institutions in Europe. To grow together.

At the start of the new academic year, we proposed three challenges to a large class of just under forty students divided into groups of three, to be solved by next summer. This initiative that offers many opportunities. The main ones, for the young participants, include the chance to grow in terms of design, to understand how to see their dreams come true, perhaps even to the point of being industrialised, and to test themselves against the practical logic of a structured company. For us at Doimo Cucine the biggest opportunity is to connect with original ideas and insights from people who also belong to our near future target market.

This collaboration with the Rome campus of Accademia Italiana is part of our ongoing research and development activities involving various partners, always aiming to propose customised kitchens that give voice to different personalities, as suggested by our slogan “made to feed your soul.” We have recently done something similar with our exclusive carbon kitchen, C4K, Carbon for Kitchen, inspired by the results achieved with this material in the automotive and yachting industries. This is also what we consistently strive to do through the choice of increasingly more technological and eco-friendly materials, such as Silestone® crafted with Hybriq+® technology.

We are a brand that experiments with original solutions and materials and we know that to do this in the best way possible we must open ourselves up to others, collaborating to grow together.
