Dekton®
The high technical performance of Dekton®
What is Dekton®
Dekton® is compound mixture of more than 20 natural minerals. It is produced using only the highest quality glass, ceramic materials and quartz. Dekton® is created using Sinterized Particle Technology, or SPT, a high tech process that represents an accelerated version of the metamorphic change natural stone undergoes when it is subjected to high temperatures and pressure over thousands of years. The large and very thin sheets produced by this process guarantee the unaltered performance characteristics of this state-of-the-art material.
Characteristics of Dekton®
High tech Dekton® boasts remarkable characteristics:
- extremely resistant to scratching and abrasions in general
- extremely resistant to stains
- extremely resistant to heat
- stable over time

Dekton® work tops
Thanks to the absence of any pores, ultra-compact, super resistant and hygienic surfaces in Dekton® are ideal for the kitchen, where the perfectly imitate stone, marble and quartz work tops. They are available in various colours, finishes and dimensions, often accompanied by splashes and splashbacks in the same material to create functional and harmonious work stations. Exposed edges are honed and polished.
How to clean Dekton®
The everyday cleaning of surfaces in Dekton® requires only a soft cloth and Q-Action, a specific product, or simply the passage of a neutral soap and a damp microfiber cloth followed by a generous rinse. Polished surfaces should be dried using kitchen paper or a clean cotton cloth. For more persistent stains, use a sponge and creamy detergent with abrasive particles or a solvent such as acetone.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid (HF) or scouring pads.
