WE.SHAPE THE FUTURE with We.Do
On the 17th of June the group to which we belong organised an event for employees to imagine ways to transform how we will think about, build and inhabit the spaces of the coming future.
We.Do Holding organised a “visioning” event for reflecting on the coming transformations of the city and, as a consequence, what type of future reality we can expect and what aspects should be considered in order to best inhabit and bring it to life, also for our clients.
The event was moderated by the physicist and innovator Alessandro Garofalo. He spoke with various guests and explored themes of central importance also to the growth of Doimo Cucine. The first topic looked at the evolution of architecture and offices through a mix of function and social interaction, explored with Alessandro Adamo, a partner at Lombardini 22, one of Italy’s leading architecture and design companies. The second theme centred on principal trends in design and sustainability, discussed with Domenico Fucigna, owner of Tea Trend, a laboratory of professionals, researchers and cool hunters. Domenico outlined six aspects, some already familiar, that will be a priority in the coming future: repairing, sustainability, mobility, wellbeing, smart cities and space architecture.
The day concluded with an exercise in creativity involving everyone present, invited to write down their vision of the future, stimulated by the day’s events and the magical atmosphere created by the live performances of the composer and pianist Maestro Stefano Raffaelli.
